Coronavirus Reopening Procedures

We understand the last few months have been trying for all our patients without access to your dental practices within your communities. The Chief Dental Officer had restricted access for dental care to a few emergency hubs across Scotland. We were in an unusual situation where we were unable to see you and resolve routine oral health issues that we would traditionally fix quickly within the practice. Many of you have found yourself in unpleasant situations that were beyond our control. We want to thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We hope you understand that this was a situation that we, as professionals, found personally challenging and against our instincts to care for our patients.

The good news is that this has come to an end and we are entering a phased return that will allow us to do what we do well and care for you and your oral health in your practice. The first phase of our reopening on Monday 22nd June, we were able to take care of those who were in the most need, including dental emergencies and urgent dental care.

On the 13th of July, we entered the second phase where we reopened our clinics for routine dental care, including exams, oral hygiene, and other dental treatments.

Our objective for reopening is to ensure all patients arriving at the practice are free of COVID 19 symptoms. To do this safely, we have developed additional safety measures and procedures outwith our clinical areas. Some of these measures will require your support, and we thank you for your help at this time.

We have detailed these changes below and would like to thank you for taking the time to review these and we look forward to welcoming you back to our practice.

If you have a dental emergency or require urgent dental care, please contact, Brite Dental Paisley on 0141 889 2012, Brite Dental Clarkston on 0141 644 1210, Brite Dental Bridge of Weir on 01505 612122 or Brite Dental Gilmerton on 0131 666 2307 for further guidance.
