We are pleased to let you know that from the 13th of July, we can welcome you back into the practice for routine dental care. This includes oral health checks, hygiene and other dental procedures.
If you have not visited us for your oral health check for six months or you are due an appointment. We will be delighted to book the first available appointment for your oral health check, assess your dental health and where required put a preventative plan in place to ensure you are dentally fit. To book your appointment, please call Brite Dental Clarkston on 0141 644 1210, Brite Dental Bridge of Weir on 01505 612122, Brite Dental Gilmerton on 0131 666 2307 or Brite Dental Paisley on 0141 889 2012.
To support the return of face to face care and reduce the risk of community transmission, we have implemented new measures to enhance our routine cross-infection protocols. If you would like to review or discover more about these, please visit https://www.brite-dental.co.uk/coronavirus-reopening-procedures-t-148
We understand the last few months have been trying for all our patients without access to your dental practices within your communities. The Chief Dental Officer had restricted access for dental care to a few emergency hubs across Scotland. We were in an unusual situation where we were unable to see you and resolve routine oral health issues that we would traditionally fix quickly within the practice. Many of you have found yourself in unpleasant situations that were beyond our control. We want to thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We hope you understand that this was a situation that we, as professionals, found personally challenging and against our instincts to care for our patients.
The good news is that this has come to an end and we are entering a phased return that will allow us to do what we do well and care for you and your oral health in your practice. The first phase of our reopening on Monday 22nd June will be to take care of those who are in the most need, including dental emergencies and urgent dental care.
The second phase will be to reopen our clinics for routine dental care, including exams, oral hygiene, and other dental treatments. We do not have a date for this as this decision is under control of the Chief Dental Officer. When this is confirmed members of our team will be in contact via email, text, or phone to arrange your appointment.
Our objective for reopening is to ensure all patients arriving at the practice are free of COVID 19 symptoms. To do this safely, we have developed additional safety measures and procedures outwith our clinical areas. Some of these measures will require your support, and we thank you for your help at this time.
We have detailed these changes below and would like to thank you for taking the time to review these and we look forward to welcoming you back to our practice.
If you have a dental emergency or require urgent dental care, please contact, Brite Dental Paisley on 0141 889 2012, Brite Dental Clarkston on 0141 644 1210, Brite Dental Bridge of Weir on 01505 612122 or Brite Dental Gilmerton on 0131 666 2307 for further guidance.
