Bridge of Weir & Houston

Jonathan (Joss) graduated from Glasgow University in 1998 and has been looking after the dental health needs of Bridge of Weir and Houston for 19 years. Jonathan enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a keen interest in digital dentistry and CAD CAM technology in which he can deliver same-day restorations to his patients. Joss has almost completed is PG Diploma in implant prosthodontics which has broadened his knowledge of general restorative dentistry as well as being able to carry out implants and offer his patients a long-term, fixed solution to failing or missing teeth. He also enjoys being able to offer his patients clear aligners and smile makeovers and is most happy when he has improved a patient’s quality of life, confidence or prolonged a tooth's life span. In his spare time, Joss is an avid mountain biker and watch repair enthusiast.

Hi I'm Kirsten and I'm a Dental Hygiene Therapist for Brite Dental. I live locally in the Bridge of Weir village and love seeing our patients in the community. I am passionate about delivering good dentistry and I also love doing Facial Aesthetics. In my spare time I love travelling Scotland with my husband and our dog Pretzel.

I have worked in the dental industry for over 10 years and I joined the Brite Dental family in May 2016. I am passionate about delivering a high-quality service to both patients and the Bridge of Weir and Houston team. I love working alongside our team helping to deliver great dentistry to all our patients.

Sally works at both the Bridge of Weir and Houston Dental practices. Sally originally graduated as a general nurse, working for 8 years in the Southern General.  She joined the dental team after starting a family. She now has over 21 years of experience working with the patients and families that are cared for in the practice. Sally takes great pride in being a part of a company that can care for the health and happiness of the community that she has come to know so well. She does everything that she can to make sure that all patients feel welcomed and looked after whilst under the care of Brite Dental.

I have worked in dentistry since 2012 as a dental nurse and since then have worked with many different dentist with a wide variety of interests. After building up my skills as a nurse, I decided to take my vocation in dentistry further and become a dental therapist. I gained my BSc in Oral Health Science from the University of Highlands and Islands in 2023. I have been working with the Berkeley/Brite group since 2018, and continued to work with them throughout my studies.

I particularly enjoy helping anxious patients overcome their dental anxieties towards treatment and being able to build rapport with patients, to create a trusting relationship between my patients and the dental profession.

Hi Im Jennifer, I am new to working at Brite. I am a qualified dental nurse & I qualified in June of  2020. I really enjoy my job as I like working with all the patients. I like seeing patients become more comfortable each time when they are visiting us at the dentist & I like to help them feel at ease in there visit as much as I can.

In my spare time I love to spend time with my 2 dogs , friends & family.

Hello, I am Nina. I am so excited to start my career as a trainee dental nurse. I find dentistry very interesting and I am looking to develop further in this field. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising and I love a lazy day at home. I am looking forward to meeting all our patients.

Hi, I'm Michelle. I have recently started at Brite Dental and love my job. I especially like interacting with patients. I am very outgoing and love to keep busy. My weekends are normally spent at concerts and socialising with friends.
